where I’ve been - and where I’m going

hi friends! it’s been a minute since I’ve been able to write to you, actually more than a minute. while this is a health and fitness site, it’s also a lifestyle site, so today I’m here to tell you about my lifestyle over this past month.

being completely real, I have not had the time to devote to this content. while I’d love for more time in the day, sometimes it’s just not realistic for us to overextend ourselves. that being said though, my busyness has stemmed from something happy - my graduation! that’s right y’all, this past month has been my last month in school as I await my graduation ceremony! I’ve had award ceremonies, senior breakfast, parties, and more, all celebrating the achievements of my peers and I. this has been an emotionally charged month, truly bittersweet, as one season comes to a close and a new one begins. time is funny, as it manages to envelop you in all of its mystery, and bring you to a new period before you even know it. how on earth did I get here? I remember those elementary and middle school days like they were yesterday! at the beginning of the month, I didn’t feel ready. the end had come but it didn’t feel right - I was nervous for what lies ahead. now, just 6 days away from the true end, being my graduation ceremony, I can say that I’m ready. hopeful. expectant for all that God has for me, as I travel to Fort Myers to begin taking passionate strides towards a career in health and wellness. after this exciting time finishes up, I look forward to getting back to making content that you all enjoy, but in the meantime, I wish to leave you with a few parting words. cheesy as a graduate but true nonetheless.

  1. take something good from every moment - even the ones that seem a little sad.

  2. don’t be afraid to do what’s best for you - not everyone else will.

  3. hold your head up high when starting something new - the world is yours!

ciao for now my friends! to my fellow class of 2021, we made it!
